Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent color slurring in the case of performing multicolor printing by providing a means for detecting the specified position of a photosensitive body and a means for detecting the position of a rotary polygon mirror and controlling the rotating speed of the rotary polygon mirror in accordance with the difference of the detected time of the means. CONSTITUTION:The time when a reference position hole 2 is detected by a reference position sensor 3 is compared with the rotational phase of the rotary polygon mirror 6 at that time by a comparison part 15, and the rotational phase of the mirror 6 is corrected by the time when the photosensitive body 1 moves by a distance to a printing starting position. When the photosensitive body 1 arrives at the printing starting position, the signal of a high level is outputted from an AND gate 33 and printing is started.
