Abstract:
PURPOSE:To select all the desired menus with the aid of one menu selecting action by simultaneously displaying the attribute menus of an upper rank and a lower rank on a display, selecting the attribute menu of the lower rank and simultaneously displaying the other attribute menu related to the attribute menu. CONSTITUTION:The data of every attribute menu is stored in a storage means 1. Besides, the width or height data of the the display of the respective menus in the case that the processing menu is displayed in a hierarchical state and the address data of the menu of the upper rank and the lower rank related to the respective menus are stored there. The menu in the hierarchical state is displayed based on the display data and the address data stored in the means 1 on a display means 2. When the attribute menu of the lower rank is selected by a selection means 3 based on the display, the other attribute menu related to the selected menu is retrieved according to the address data stored in the means 1 and displayed on the means 2 by a display control means 4. Thus, the menu is selected by one time and it is efficiently selected.
