Abstract:
PURPOSE:To properly cool a solar battery for improving the efficiency of power generation by covering the light receiving surface side of the solar battery with a transparent cover provided on the surface of a vehicle and providing an air flow path in at least one main face side of the battery and an exhaust means between an air intake port and air discharge port. CONSTITUTION:A solar battery 4 is provided on the back of a transparent cover 2 fixed to a roof R above a compartment to form an air flow path 5 between the solar battery and the rear side rear panel 6. While an air intake port 7 is provided in the front end of the air flow path 5 and an air discharge port 9 in the rear end, a cross flow fan 10 of a discharge means is provided behind to be driven by the solar battery 4. When the temperature of the solar battery 4 is shown higher than the temperature of a compartment by temperature sensors 11, 14 for detecting these temperatures, the fan 10 is controllably operated. Or a changeover means capable of affording communication between the air flow path and the outside of the compartment may be provided to take in the atmosphere. In the case of taking in the atmosphere, the discharge means is driven in the low speed of a vehicle.
