Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a sub-picture on which the taste of a user is sufficiently reflected on a display of a sub-channel. SOLUTION: A main controlling part using a central processing unit 4 as a center selects plural background pictures stored in a video CD, synthesizes the selected background pictures with the song lyrics, and outputs it to a display 16a of a main ch. Attribute information such as the genre is assigned to each musical composition, and the main controlling part updates and generates the taste list of a user based on the history of the attribute information related with plural reproduced KARAOKE (orchestration without lyrics) musical compositions. The main controlling part selects plural sub-picture such as CM pictures stored in the video CD according to the taste information, and outputs the selected sub-pictures to a display 16b of a sub-ch.
