Abstract:
A system for the control of a motor vehicle is proposed with a first device for determining control data required for control of the motor vehicle. A second device serves for monitoring the first device. The first device determines second data, based on the first data, according to a test function. The second device similarly determines third data, based on the first data, according to the test function. The first and/or the second device detects a safety-related fault condition on the basis of a comparison between the second data and the third data.
