Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an element which has high luminance and luminescent efficiency, hardly undergoes degradation in luminescence, and is highly reliable. CONSTITUTION:At least one org. compd. of the formula (wherein R<1> to R<8> are each H, halogen, cyano, nitro, amino, dialkylamino, diphenylamino, hydroxyl, alkoxy, mercapto, siloxy, acyl, cycloalkyl, carboxyl, sulfone, an aliph. or arom. hydrocarbon group, heterocyclic, etc.; and X and Y are each O, S, SO2, NH, etc.) is used for producing the EL element which at least has a phosphor between a pair of electrodes.
