Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a hollow container excellent in chemical resistance and weatherability and its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION:The hollow container concerned is obtained by blowing positively pressurized fluid in a parison formed by extruding oxy-alkylene group- containing polyvinyl alcohol, melt index of which at 210 deg.C under the load of 2,160g is 0.1-4.9g/10min, and regulated so as to be at the temperature conditions or the one higher than the secondary transition temperature of the oxy-alkylene group-containing polyvinyl alcohol and lower than the melting point of the parison, concretely at 150-220 deg.C under the condition that one end of the parison is enclosed for blow-molding.
