Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten the delay time of a cancel processing by executing a tap coefficient updating processing in a tap coefficient updating part after pseudo-echo/residual echo calculation processing by means of a pseudo-echo/ residual echo calculating part. CONSTITUTION: An input cell from a reception side input cell (a) is stored in a tap memory 5. Concerning the output, the pseudo-echo/residual echo calculating part 2 collectively executes the calculation of pseudo-echo/residual echo forty-seven times in a row as against 47-byte data in a cell through the use of a tap coefficient inside a tap coefficient memory 4, makes it into a cell and transmits it. A tap coefficient updating part 3 successively and collectively executes the updating processing of 47-byte data in the cell forty-seven times in a row by receiving a residual echo calculation result from the calculating part 2. Then, the generation tap coefficient is stored in the memory 4 and the tap coefficient updated through the use of forty-seventh data is stored in the memory 4 after the completion of the updating processing. Therefore, in the succeeding cell input, the calculation processing of pseudo-echo/residual echo is executed through the coefficient as against whole 47-byte data in the cell.
