Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier film exhibiting gas barrier properties even at high humidity and having good adhesion of the constituent coating film to the substrate. SOLUTION: This gas barrier film is prepared by forming a coating film mainly consisting of a water-soluble polymer A, a water-soluble or water- dispersible polymer B having a glass transition point of 70 deg.C or below and an inorganic layered compound on at least either surface of a thermoplastic resin substrate. It is also possible that polymer B is an acrylic polymer having an average molecular weight of 100,000 or above and the coating film contains 0.01-10wt.% crosslinking agent.
