Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely correct the sensitivity of an X-ray detector. SOLUTION: An output signal, for an X-ray detector 11, obtained in such a way that the X-ray detector 11 is irradiated with X-rays at a prescribed intensity is measured. Its change in terms of time is detected. The output signal from the X-ray detector 11 after a judgment that the change in terms of time is terminated is used as sensitivity correction data. At this time the number of times of blank measurements required until the judgment that the change in terms of time of the X-ray detector 11 is terminated is stored. In a sensitivity correction after that the X-ray detector 11 is irradiated with the X-rays at a prescribed intensity, and the output signal from the X-ray detector 11 after the execution of blank measurements in the stored number of times of blank measurements is used as sensitivity correction data.
