Title:
【発明の名称】鉛蓄電池
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3379870
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict short-circuiting and improve a vibration proofing characteristic by a method wherein a plurality of rib projections having a space of portions in parallel with the vertical direction of a positive plate and abutted against the end part of the positive plate narrower than that of residual potions are provided at a plane where a bag separator storing the positive plate is abutted against the positive plate. SOLUTION: A lead acid battery is provided with a bag separator storing a positive plate. A plane where the bag separator is abutted against the positive plate is provided with a plurality of rib projections 1 where a space of portions in parallel with a vertical direction of the positive plate and abutted against the end part of the positive plate is made narrower than that of other portions. With such an arrangement as above, even in the case that a frame grid of the positive plate is curved by overcharging or the like under a high temperature, a contacted location of the separator with the positive plate is limited to the rib-like projections, so that deterioration of the ground part of the separator is restricted. In addition, an installing space of the rib-like projection at a part abutting against the end part of the positive plate is preferably 50% or less of a thickness of the positive plate.
