Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an aqueous adhesive suitable for non-rigid polyvinyl chloride or decorative paper, etc., having excellent adhesiveness especially at low temperature, comprising a crystalline polyurethane as an essential component. CONSTITUTION:The objective adhesive comprising a crystalline polyurethane obtained by reacting (A) a crystalline polyester polyol preferably having 1,000-3,500 number-average molecular weight, composed of a polyester diol preferably prepared by reacting polymethylenediol with a polymethylene dicarboxylic acid with (B) a polyisocyanate such as 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate as an essential component. The endothermic peak of the resin by differential thermal analysis exists at 30-100 deg.C (preferably 30-80 deg.C) and strength thereof is 5-30cal/g (preferably 7-15cal/g).
