Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover waste plastics in a residual which has been disposed of so far as resources. SOLUTION: Mixed waste plastics 2 are sorted into solid plastics 2a, lightweight plastics 2b, and small-sized plastics 2c sieved to have a prescribed size or below by an oscillation-repulsion type selector 1. Metals are removed from the small-sized plastics in a metal selection process 5. Next, the small-sized plastics 2c from which metals were removed are sorted into are plastics and the residual other than plastics in a wind force selection process 6. The sorted plastics are introduced with the lightweight plastics 2b into a chlorine-containing plastic removing process, and chlorine-containing plastics are separated/removed.
