Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-linear dielectric element capable of exhibiting a good non-linear property. SOLUTION: A non-linear dielectric element 1 has a dielectric substance 2 made of dielectric ceramics presenting a so-called non-linear property and presenting hysteresis in an electric field-charge property, and first and second electrodes 3 and 4 formed on first and second surfaces of the dielectric substance 2, respectively. The electrodes 3 and 4 are formed by applying conductive paste containing metal powder and boro-silicated lead bismuth-based glass and/or barium boro-silicate-based glass, and then burning the paste.
