Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in gap and parallelism between a developing sleeve and an image carrier and to stably form an image by fixing color developing units in relative positions by means of precisely-formed connecting members. SOLUTION: Projections 1451 are set on the sides of developing-unit bottom plates 145Y, 145M, and 145C, three on the sides situated on the paper front-side and two on the sides situated on the paper rear-side. Projections 1461 are set on the sides of a yellow-developing-unit cover 146, three on the side situated on the paper front-side and two on the side situated on the paper rear-side. They are so set as to be fitted in the support holes 511 and 521 of developing- unit side plates 51 and 52. The relative positions are fixed between both ends of the developing-unit bottom plates 145Y, 145M, and 145C and yellow- developing-unit cover 146 and the developing-unit side plates 51 and 52. At this time, the developing-unit side plates 51 and 52 are set almost perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the developing-unit bottom plates 145Y, 145M, and 145C and yellow-developing-unit cover 146.
