Abstract:
PURPOSE:To constitute a bias magnetic field generating coil and a magnetoresistive element as a unitary body and to achieve a compact configuration. CONSTITUTION:A magnetoresistive element is formed on an insulating substrate 1. Two coils for generating bias magnetic fields, which are applied on the magnetoresistive element from the direction of the (x) axis and the direction of the (y) axis, are wound with conductor patterns 5a, 5b, 6a and 6b. Thus, the compact magnetic detecting element is constituted at low cost.
