Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce an image filing size at the time of preservation and to accelerate display processing speed by selectively or simultaneously displaying a compressed image and a resized image preserved in the image recording device. CONSTITUTION: The image recording device expands inputted compressed image data A0 according to an expanding system corresponding to its compressing system while using an expanding part 1. Then, the processed image is displayed on a display part 6 and after it is confirmed by a confirming part 7 whether preserving that image or not, the image data are preserved by a preserving part 8. Besides, when displaying only one compressed image recorded by the image recording device, the image reproducing device retrieves the desired compressed image data A0 while using a retrieving part 10, afterwards, expands those image data corresponding to its compressing system while using an expanding part 11 and displays them on a display part 16. Thus, the compressed image compressing a source image and the resized image resizing the source image are preserved by the image recording device, and the preserved compressed image and resized image are selectively or simultaneously displayed by the image reproducing device.
