Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the rebound voltage due to the recovery of a snubber diode by molding a first serially connected body of a first capacitor that is connected in parallel with a semiconductor element and a diode and a second serially connected body of a second capacitor, that is connected in parallel with the diode and a resistor into a single piece. SOLUTION: A snubber module 6 incorporates a snubber capacitor 8, a CD snubber that is connected between lead terminals 31 and 32 consisting of a serially connected body of a snubber diode 10, and a CR snubber 22 that is connected in parallel with the diode 10 and consists of a serially connected body of a second capacitor 18 and a resistor 20. Then, the CD snubber and the CR snubber 22 are molded into a single piece and are accommodated in the same package, thus increasing the latitude of freedom for the arrangement of the CR snubber 22, achieving wiring in an extremely small space, accommodating the current loop of the CD snubber within an extremely small space, and suppressing wiring inductance to be low.
