Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a guide sensor from being influenced by the magnetic flux generated from an electromagnetic brake by covering the electromagnetic brake with a cup-shaped shielding cover made of iron. CONSTITUTION: A cup-shape shielding cover 32 made of iron is fitted to the fitting flange 21a of an electromagnetic brake 21 to a differential mechanism 11 through bolts and the like. The magnetic flux ϕ (usually about 10G) generated from the electromagnetic brake 21 is guided by means of the shielding cover 32, and reduced to the intensity under 5G required for transmitting a signal in the vicinity of a guide sensor 23. In this way, by providing the shielding cover 32 made of iron, the guide sensor 23 is not badly influenced from the magnetic flux ϕ of the electromagnetic brake 21, a steering motor 2 is normally operated by means of the guide sensor 23, and an automatic guided vehicle can be operated along a guide body.
