Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent clogging of dust and sediment between a ditch cover and a ditch wall by making overflow water, flowing in from a road, flow into the water inlet of a concrete ditch cover directly from the ditch wall in the cover of a sideditch or a cross ditch for draining. CONSTITUTION: A synthetic resin drain body 2 used in this case is constituted of an inflow part 2x provided with a water inlet 2a on the upper face and having a downflow passage inclined from one side to the other side, with the upper end side face of the downflow passage opened being connected to the water inlet 2a so as to form the opened side face 2o, and an outflow cylinder body 2y connected to the lower end part lower face of the downflow passage of the inflow part 2x. The drain bodies 2, 2 are opposedly embedded in the width direction of a concrete ditch cover, with the outflow cylinder bodies 2y, 2y placed inside. At this time, the opened side face 20 of the inflow part 2x is exposed to the side face of the concrete ditch cover.
