Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor having a good assembling property and high performance by extending a connecting electrode to a pressure detecting element on part of the outer surface of a case, and connecting one end of the pressure detecting element to the outer surface of the case. SOLUTION: A thin section 13c is formed on part of the inner face 13b of a cover body 13 forming part of the case of a battery by grind machining or press machining, and an insulating film 18 made of a glass resin is printed into a nearly rectangular shape on the thin section 13c or the outer surface 13d of the peripheral cover body 13. A pressure detecting element 19 with the prescribed thickness is printed on the insulating film 18. When the internal pressure of the case rises, the pressure detecting element 19 is distorted accordingly, and its resistance value is changed. The size of the outer shape of the pressure detecting element 19 is made smaller than the area of the insulating film 18, and the pressure detecting element 19 is formed into a nearly lateral rectangular not to be protruded from the insulating film 18. A pressure sensor S which is easy to assemble at a low cost, can be distorted to surely follow the small distortion of the case and has high performance can be obtained.
