Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate impurities in air supplied to a fuel cell. SOLUTION: This fuel cell vehicle uses a fuel cell as a drive source generating power with gas supplied, and is provided with a gas cleaning device 2, which contains photocatalyst in a passage supplying gas to the fuel cell and an light source 10, which irradiates the photocatalyst with light. The light source 10 is lighted by electric power out of the fuel cell. The photocatalyst is provided in an air filter, which cleans a gas, such as air and pressure detecting means 7, 8 are provided on front/rear of the air filter. Therefore the impurities can be eliminated at an optimum period of time by irradiating the photocatalyst with light, when the difference of the pressure is a specified value or more.
