Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a porous hose in which control for the degree of expansion is easily performed without the necessity for especially performing complex work and also safety in handling is excellent. SOLUTION: A communication part (open cell structure) 4 capable of permeating liquid and/or gas is formed on the peripheral wall by extruding thermoplastic elastomer 5 while injecting water used as a foaming agent at the prescribed pressure into the cylinder of an extruder filled with thermoplastic elastomer 5. Further, Shore hardness of thermoplastic elastomer is 50A-80D and the injection amount of water is 0.05-5 pts.wt. for 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic elastomer. Expansion extrusion is favorably performed by regulating the temperature of thermoplastic elastomer to >=50 deg.C.
