Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for the thermal recycling of a waste plastics which is capable of dispensing with the pyrolysis of the waste plastics to render the fluidization temperature low and to inhibit the generation of low flashpoint substances by the pyrolysis of the waste plastics, avoiding the danger of taking fire and, in addition, achieving not only resource recycling but also energy creation to make the best of the energy of the waste plastics. SOLUTION: A waste plastic alone or a mixture of a waste plastics and an oil substance is heat-melted and a molten liquid or molten slurry thus obtained is used as a fuel. The heat melting is preferably carried out under the conditions such that the waste plastics does not decompose so much. The oil substance may be any one excluding a low boiling point oil substance such as gasoline, and fuel oil such as fuel oil A, fuel oil B and fuel oil C, light oil, kerosine, asphalt, etc., are illustrated. Further, the heat melting of the waste plastics alone or a mixture of the waste plastics and the oil substance is preferably carried out by using a heated heat transfer medium.
