Title:
酢酸セルロースの分解方法
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3605444
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively easily decompose cellulose acetate as a hard-to- decompose material, to be used as e.g. a raw material for cigarette filters or phtographic films, by using Rhizobium bacteria without affecting the natural environment. SOLUTION: A medium is incorporated with cellulose acetate powder 2.5 in degree of substitution and then dispensed into flasks. Next, the weight of cellulose acetate membranes each 1.7 and 2.5 in degree of substitution is measured, the membranes are then packed in nets so as not to be broken, and put into the flasks filled with the medium. Subsequently, the membranes are inoculated with Rhizodium bacteria (e.g. Rhizobium meliloti) followed by conducting a shaking culture at 27 deg.C and at 260rpm; then, the cellulose membranes present weight reduction at 26.8% and 12.1% for the degree of substitution of 1.7 and 2.5, respectively, 21 days after the beginning of the culture; at 50.5% and 27.5%, respectively, 28 days after. Thus, the cellulose acetate as a hard-to-decompose material can be relatively easily decomposed without affecting the natural environment.
