Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the responsiveness of each means constituting a system, to reduce costs and to improve transmitting and storing efficiency. SOLUTION: This monitor system is provided with a television camera, an intermediate server 2 and a server 3, and a person extracting means 1 being the most basic function for monitoring a person requiring real time processing is incorporated in the television camera. In this case, processing for evaluating the optimality of an extracted video from the television camera is shared by the intermediate server, and processing requiring not real time performance but a processing time such as retrieval tag attachment is shared by the server, and digitized and summarized information is transmitted during that processing. Thus, it is possible to improve the responsiveness of transmission and storage and to reduce costs.
