Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stably reduce noises, such as road noise, to which it is difficult to obtain an appropriate noise source signal (reference signal), even when the driving conditions of a vehicle change. CONSTITUTION:A CPU is provided to set a speaker signal based on the modelling error value Wu defined on the control sound transfer characteristic model H which is formed by modelling the transfer characteristic of sound between a speaker and a microphone when a microphone signal is received and the threshold value (b) for noise reduction which is defined for indicating the reduced noise level of the noise transfer characteristic G between the noise source and the microphone. In this case, at least either of the modelling error value Wu and the threshold value (b) for noise reduction is changed based on the driving conditions of a vehicle such as conditions of opened/closed window and vehicle speed.
