Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the inconvenience generated by the mis-combination of different objects at the recognition time of an obstacle by judging again whether it is a stopped object or moving object, when an own lane probability which is such probability that the recognized obstacle stays on the lane same as the own car is dropped than a prescribed value. SOLUTION: When an own lane probability is less than 50%, even if 0.5 sec. is elapsed after realizing a relative acceleration abnormality flag (S515 Yes), such condition realization whether the value multiplied the relative speed VY of Y axis direction of a judge object by -1 is bigger than the value multiplied the own car speed by 0.7 or the value added the own car speed to the relative speed VY of Y axis direction of the judge object is 10 km/h or less, is judged (S512). At the realized case of this condition (S512 Yes), a stop object flag is set to 1 (S513) and this treating routine is finished. At no realizing time of the condition (S512 NO), the stop object flag is set to 0 (S517) and this treating routine is finished.
