Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault information display system that can prevent screen display from being complicated due to duplicate displays of fault occurrence notices of subordinate network devices on the occurrence of a fault in a host network device. SOLUTION: The fault information display system includes: steps c1 to c9 of storing a resource name (identification information) of a network device in which a fault takes place to a fault information list table 10, temporarily inhibiting fault display of network devices whose resource names are host resource names of the faulty network device; and steps c11 to c15 of deleting the fault information of the network device whose fault is restored from the fault information list table 10 and executing again the fault display of the network devices whose resource names are host resource names of the faulty network device. Thus, the system can prevent the fault occurrence notice of the subordinate network device from being displayed in duplicate with the fault occurrence notice of the host network devices and displays the fault occurrence notice of the subordinate network device once more after the fault of the host network devices is recovered.
