Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact material for a river water purifying equipment capable of raising/multiplying bacterial for purification in a healthy state throughout the year inside a contact aeration tank of the river water purifying equipment without the need for replacing the contact material irrespectively of the change of the season when it is set once. SOLUTION: This contact material 1 is a cylindrical body whose cross sectional shape is the circle of an outer diameter of 60 mm, length of 60 mm and thickness of 10 mm and it is constituted so as to be porous, having fine holes 2 by continuous foaming using a polyurethane resin.
