Abstract:
To provide an exhaust gas treatment apparatus and an exhaust gas treatment method capable of cleaning the exhaust gas discharged from a thermolysis apparatus for decomposing organic pollutants by surely removing the organic matter and organic chlorine compounds in the exhaust gas.
The gas discharged from the thermolysis apparatus 1 for thermolyzing the organic pollutants included in contaminants is treated. A wet gas scrubber 19 and an active carbon packed column 22 are successively disposed in a route for discharging the gas consecutive to a gas vent 18 of the pyrolysis apparatus 1 and the gas in the thermolysis apparatus 1 is sucked by an exhauster 21 disposed in the gas discharge route.
