Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate installation work by forming mounting eyes of installation members provided on an installment panel member and an air bag unit inclined in the car body rear direction so as to install the air bag unit on the installment panel member from below. CONSTITUTION:Air bag side installation brackets 21, 21 are provided on both end parts of a fuze 19 which is an initiating device of an air bag unit 5, and the fuze 19 is installed on member side installation brackets 22, 22 provided on a steering support member 4 as an installment panel member. A mounting eye 22a of each of the member side installation brackets 22 is formed in a flat plate shape facing orthogonally downward in the car body rear direction. In the meantime, the air bag side installation brackets 21, 21 form mounting eyes 21a, 21a facing orthogonally upward so as to face against these mounting eyes 22a, 22a. By these both mounting eyes 22a, 22a and 21a 21a, the air bag unit 5 is installed from below.
