Abstract:
The invention relates to a preparation for the administration of drugs in the form of minute liquid droplets which are provided, in particular, with a membrane-like covering of one or more layers of amphiphilic molecules or with an amphiphilic carrier substance, in particular for transporting the drug in and through natural barriers and constrictions such as membranes and the like. The preparation contains a boundary-active substance in an amount corresponding to up to 99 mol% of the content of this substance by which the solubilisation point of the droplets is reached. The preparation is suitable for the non-invasive administration of antidiabetics, in particular of insulin. The invention also relates to a process for the production of such preparations.
