Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an input device which eliminates the load applied to the connection part between a terminal and a circuit board and maintains the connection state satisfactorily when a rotary electric components is slanted by absorbing the tilt quantity of the rotary electric component through the bending of a margin part and maintaining the connection state of the terminal and circuit board when the rotary electric component is slanted. SOLUTION: A rotary encoder tilts as shown by the arrow A as an operation shaft 29 tilts, but it smoothly tilt on the abutting part P3 between an extension part 18e formed integrally with the back wall 18 of a fitting plate 17 and the circuit board 22 as a fulcrum and a gap (t) is formed with the circuit board 22. Simultaneously, the margin part 5a of the terminal 5 shrinks from its natural length to reduction length S2 to absorb the tilt quantity of the rotary encoder. This absorption eliminates the load applied to the connection part between the terminal 5 and circuit board 22 through the tilting of the rotary encoder to maintain the connection state between the terminal 5 and circuit board 22 satisfactorily.
