Abstract:
A subject of the present invention is to provide a support with immobilized DNA as a DNA library and particularly to a support suitable for reproducing DNA in accordance with a DNA amplification reaction. In the present invention, DNA or the like is immobilized on a surface of a support made of one kind or more than material Selected from a group of a diamond including non-diamond carbon, amorphous carbon and graphite. A hydroxyl group may be bonded to a surface of the support or a group bonded to a hydro-carbon group and a carboxyl group at its terminal end may be bonded to a surface of the support through an ester linkage or a peptide linkage.
