Abstract:

The objective of this invention is to provide a scooter type motorcycle, where the foot rest area and the appearance may still be maintained even if a secondary fuel tank is provided next to the gas cap. In the scooter type motorcycle of this invention, a fuel gas cap 21 is provided next to an upper side of a steering shaft 3, a secondary fuel tank 19 is provided next to a lower side of the gas cap 21, an upper end of a connection tube 18 is connected to the secondary fuel tank 19, a primary fuel tank 17 is connected to a lower end 18 of the connection tube 18. Because the secondary fuel tank 19 and the gas cap 21 are provided at a location where their lateral sides overlay the steering shaft 3, the space for the foot rest platform 5 and the appearance of the motorcycle 1 may still be maintained.
