Title:
内燃機関の弁駆動装置
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3980699
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
The valves of the engine are operated by one of a number of cams (4a to 4c) which are integral with a sleeve (5) and which are located next to one another. The sleeve is connected to the camshaft (6) by e.g. splines so that it rotates with the shaft but can be moved axially. The sleeve is moved axially by rods (15,18), which can be fed-in radially towards the camshaft, and which engage with axial cam faces (9,10) on the endfaces of the sleeve. The sleeve is positioned on the camshaft by a spring-loaded ball (23) which engages with grooves in the sleeve bore.
