Abstract:

To provide a manganese oxide capable of obtaining an excellent low-rate property.

This manganese oxide is expressed by a composition formula MnSaHbMexOc-zH2O (where Me is a kind of or combination of two or more kinds of Ti, Ca, Mg and Ln), where a is 0.009-0.015, b is 0.3-0.4, c is 2.10-2.20, x is 0-0.015 and z is larger than 0. The ratio I (310)/I (221) of the peak intensity I (310) of a surface (310) and the peak intensity I (221) of a surface (221) measured by X-ray diffraction (XRD) is 0.10 or more.
