Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make transfer efficiency from a 1st image carrier to an intermediate transfer body and transfer efficiency from the intermediate transfer body to a 2nd image carrier extremely high, further to prevent the change of the characteristic of the intermediate transfer body even in the case of severe endurance use by repeated use of the intermediate transfer body and to maintain the same characteristic as in the initial state. SOLUTION: As for the intermediate transfer body (intermediate transfer belt) used in the image forming device where an image formed on the 1st image carrier is transferred to the intermediate transfer body and then it is transferred to the 2nd image carrier further; material for molding is welded and extruded to be cylindrical by an extruding machine, and the extrusion molding ratio of the intermediate transfer body molded to be in desired shape while gas is made to blow is 1.05 to 2.80. The uniformity of an electric resistance value in a belt is obtained by the extrusion molding ratio.
