Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attract user's interest and divert user's mind while the power source is turned on and initialization setting is carried out. CONSTITUTION: This electronic equipment is equipped with a display part 2, a timer counter 14a which clocks the current time, a ROM 17 stored with plural illustration patterns corresponding to the time clocked by the timer counter 14a, and a CPU 14 which obtains the time when power-ON operation is detected from the operation of the power key 4a of a key input part 4 from the timer counter 14a, reads plural illustration patterns out of the ROM 17 according to the obtained time, and switches and displays the illustration patterns at the display part 2 in sequence.
