Abstract:

To provide a heat pump type water heater capable of stably continuing heating operation.

This heat pump type water heater comprises a heat pump unit, a hot water supply unit, and a heating unit. A heat exchanger for hot water supply comprises a first hot water supply heat exchanger and a second hot water supply heat exchanger, and a heat source side heat exchanger is used as an evaporator. The heat pump type water heater comprises a hot water storage operation mode for storing hot water in a hot water supply tank by using the first hot water supply heat exchanger to lead hot water in the hot water supply tank to the first hot water supply heat exchanger so as to use the first hot water supply heat exchanger as the evaporator. The heat pump type water heater comprises a first heating operation mode for operating the heating unit by using the second hot water supply heat exchanger to use the heat source side heat exchanger as the evaporator. The heat pump type water heater comprises a second heating operation mode for operating the heating unit by using the second hot water supply heat exchanger and uses the heat source side heat exchanger as the evaporator. The heat pump type water heater comprises a heating and hot water storage operation mode for operating the heating unit by using the second hot water supply heat exchanger and storing hot water in the hot water supply tank by using the first hot water supply heat exchanger.
