Abstract:

To provide a heat-resistant block and heat-resistant concrete suitable for a casting floor, which are inexpensive, have heat resistance and further exhibit superior strength compared with that of a heat-resistant block and heat-resistant concrete using general blast furnace water-granulated slag.

The heat-resistant block contains cement constituted mainly of at least one or more of Portland cement, blast furnace cement and alumina cement, and the porous aggregate constituted of blast furnace annealed slag having a smaller porocity compared with that of the general blast furnace water-granulated slag and/or outer blast furnace water-granulated slag, and the compounded mass ratio of the cement material to the porous aggregate is 1:2-1:5. The heat-resistant concrete contains a cement material prepared by blending a blast furnace slag powder for concrete constituted mainly of a fine powder having a Bullen value of ≥5,000 cm2/g with cement, and the porous aggregate, with the compounded mass ratio of the cement to the porous aggregate is 1:2-1:5.
