Abstract:
Method for preparing diaminocyclohexane-platinum(II) dicarboxylates (1). Method for preparing diaminocyclohexane-platinum(II) dicarboxylates of formula (I) comprises: (A) reacting K 2PtX 2 with 1,2-diaminocyclohexane to form complex (2); (B) reacting this with a silver salt Ag nA to form complex (3) and removing the AgX precipitate; and (C) reacting (3) with a dicarboxylate. The new feature is that in step (b) less than the stoichiometric amount of silver salt is used. R 1 and R 2 together : dicarboxylato group; X : chloro or iodo; A : 1- or 2-valent anion; n : 1 or 2.
