Abstract:
To provide an organic electroluminescent element with high luminous brightness and excellent durability, a display device using it, and further a white color light-emitting organic electroluminescent element with high luminous brightness and excellent durability as well as a lighting device equipped with the same.
The organic electroluminescent element is provided with a light-emitting layer containing a host compound and a phosphorescent compound as a dopant compound. A compound containing a bicyclo[1.1.1]pentane skeleton is contained in either of the layers constituting the element.
