Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a ring-shaped artifact which appear in an R/R(Rotation/ Rotation) system CT. SOLUTION: A ring correction processing 205 is constituted of an r-θ convertion processing 101, a ring component extraction processing 102, an x-y conversion processing 103 and a correction processing 104. The reconstituting image of an x-y coordinate system is coordinate-converted into an r-θ rotary coordinate system so as to obtain an r-θ image in the r-θ conversion processing 101. Difference in an θ-direction is extracted in the ring component extraction processing 102. Since difference in the θ-direction is the r-θ coordinate system, coordinate conversion is executed into the x-y coordinate system being the same as the reconstituting image. A difference portion in the θ-direction converted into the coordinate system is subtracted from an original reconstituting image.
