Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet which can lose in its adhesive strength within a short time upon infrared heating and can therefore be released from the adherend efficiently. SOLUTION: There is provided a thermally releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet prepared by forming a thermally expandable layer 3 containing thermally expandable microspheres on at least either surface of a support 1 directly or through another layer such as a rubber-like organic elastic layer 2, wherein at least one layer, such as the support 1, the thermally expandable layer 3, or the rubber-like organic layer 2, which constitutes the sheet is endowed with ultraviolet absorptivity. Ultraviolet absorptivity can be imparted to the above layer, for example, by adding a black colorant or a blue to green colorant or the like. A desirable substance which can impart ultraviolet absorptivity includes a near-infrared absorbing colorant.
