To provide a fluid machine, compact-sized and reduced in size by simplifying the constitution.
This fluid machine includes: an expander 4 for converting heat energy of a Rankine cycle Ra to the turning power; a supplying pump 1 driven by the turning power to increase the pressure of the Rankine cycle Ra; and a motor for generating the rotation driving force, wherein a rotating shaft 21 is shared by these. Thus, the configuration of components is simplified to construct the machine in a compact size, reduce the cost, and facilitate loading of a vehicle or the like. Although the supplying pump 1 has to be continuously driven by a motor in the conventional Rankine cycle Ra, it can be driven by the expander 4 using the Rankine cycle Ra so that the expander 4 continues to drive the supplying pump 1 as far as it is supplied with heat energy, so the expansion energy is continuously received to continue the operation of the Rankine cycle Ra. Accordingly, starting will eliminate the need of power feeding to save energy.
