Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for discriminating microorganisms by which a plurality of the microorganisms constituting a microorganism group can simultaneously and readily be discriminated, an apparatus for discriminating the microorganisms, a method for preparing a database for discriminating the microorganisms and a recording medium recording a program for discriminating the microorganisms. SOLUTION: This method for discriminating the microorganisms is composed of a step S1 of carrying out analytical experiments of the microorganisms by a single strain counting polymerase chain reaction(SSC-PCR) method, a step S2 of incorporating an electrophoretic image obtained by the analytical experiments, a step S3 of producing a waveform data indicating the luminance distribution of the electrophoretic image from the resultant image data, a step S4 of correcting the waveform data, a step S5 of connecting the waveform data, a step S6 of performing retrieval of the database using the waveform data and a step S7 of indicating the obtained results.
