Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perfectly evaporate spray water, to adjust the temperature of exhaust gas to a target value with high accuracy and to prevent the adhesion of dust to an unused spray nozzle and the clogging of the nozzle. SOLUTION: A large number of spray nozzles 7 are arranged in an inner cylinder 9 in a state equal in the peripheral direction of the inner cylinder and inclined in the height direction thereof. A water supply device 10 and a compressed air supply device 11 are connected to the respective spray nozzles 7 and control unit 12 controls the spray nozzles 7 so as to select the number of positions of the nozzles 7 for sprinkling water so as to bring the detection temperature of a gas temperature sensor 13 to a target temperature. Compressed air is intermittently supplied to the spray nozzles 7 not sprinkling water from the water supply device 11 by the control unit to purge the nozzle not only to prevent the adhesion of dust to the tips of the spray nozzles 7 but also to clean the interiors of the nozzles.
