To provide a medical examination support system for supporting medical examination by a doctor by effectively retrieving and presenting accumulated medical examination support knowledge.
This system comprises a medical examination support knowledge retrieval part 12, a storage means 13 having a correlation rule storage part 132 storing a correlation rule for showing a risk content or a preservation object by a conclusion part, and an input and output means 11 having an input part 111 in examination of a patient and a rule class input part 112. The medical examination support knowledge retrieval part 12 executes class rule retrieval step 123 for retrieving rules according to the rule class; medical data retrieval step 121 for retrieving medical data in the examination of the patient; and inconsistent rule exclusion step 122 for excluding a rule inconsistent to the medical data, whereby a corresponding rule is retrieved and displayed on a rule output part 113 of the input and output means 11.
